Set up by BAFTA winning, Oscar nominated Producer Chris Hees, Bridge Way Films develops and produces UK dramas and comedies that have place and character at the centre of their premise.

Bridge Way Films is developing a slate of character driven films that explore the concepts of place and identity. Keeping one hand on the heart of the UK film industry in London, and the other hand on the growing energy and talent in Hull the company works with emerging and established talent to give a fresh voice to the north of England.

About Chris Hees

Chris is a multi-award winning film producer and alumni of the prestigious National Film and Television School.

His BAFTA winning, Oscar nominated animation film, The Bigger Picture, along with his multi-award winning live-action short, How I Didn’t Become A Piano Player, have played at no less than 250 international film festivals, picking up over 65 awards.

Having now established his own feature film company Chris works with fresh voices and emerging talent from across the UK. He has a keen interest in telling the stories from and about Hull, the place he grew up and a source of untapped talent.
