Vertigo meets Beast

John, a disillusioned and lonely therapist decides to kill himself, but is saved by a stranger at the last minute. Given a surprising second chance, John decides to start over, but his happiness will come at the cost of the other man’s life. 

A psychological thriller with a noir undertone – we follow the story of John as he struggles with each decision he makes.The Fall is a sophisticated mix of art-house filmmaking and commercial storytelling that draws on the themes of existential crisis and moral ambiguity synonymous within Weronika’s work.

Writer/Director Biography

Weronika Tofilska is a Polish writer / director living and working in London. She graduated from both Krzysztof Kieslowskis Film School in Katowice, Poland and the prestigious National Film and Television School in the UK.

Weronika has taken part in development schemes such as Script Laboratory (Poland), Passion To Marker (France-Poland-UK), and New Horizons (Poland) as well as been awarded Creative England’s emerging talent funding for development of The Fall.
