A fiercely competitive British speed skater seizes her last chance to comeback on the ice, training in Salt Lake City for a place at the Olympics. But far from home, her tightly wound façade unravels as new friendships threaten to destroy her life’s ambition. Forced to the edge, she must battle her addiction to adrenaline and find real control, on and off the ice.
Samantha Collins is an Australian born British screenwriter based in Paris. A graduate of the UK’s National Film and Television School, Samantha co-wrote the multi-award winning graduation animation After The End (2015) with director Sam Southward. Her first feature commission, family ballet film You Can Tutu (2017), produced by James Brown (Still Alice) and Nicky Bentham (Moon), has been released on SVOD platforms including Amazon, iTunes and Netflix.
Samantha is currently developing a number of her own original film and television projects, including co-productions, for the UK, USA, Australia and France.
